Pronouns : possessive
ظمائر الملكيه
حتى نوضح ماهية ظمائر الملكيه نبدأ بالامثله الاتيه
That seat isn't yours , it is mine .
Lend me your bicycle , hers is no good.
He is wearing a hat , that is not his .
That cat is ours

The words underlined above-mentioned :yours , mine , hers , his , ours ,don’t qualify nouns
They show possession , and here they are standing instead of nouns .
Yours means in that sentence , your seat , hers means her bicycle , they are possessive pronouns .
إذن الكلمات yours , mine , his ours and etc , بديله عن الاسماء والظمير yours في الجملة السابقه يعني your seat والظمير hers يعني her bicycle
ومن هنا فان هذه الظمائر هي ظمائر ملكيه .

ملحوظه:-في بعض المرات ستجد ظمائر الملكيه ملازمه ل of
Example- He is a friend of mine
ولا نستطيع ان نقول He is a friend of me
2- that dog of yours has been fighting again
3- there is Ali and that friend of his , going to play tennis.

ملحوظه :- لكي لا يتم الخلط بين صفات الملكيه وظمائر الملكيه فاننا نميز بينهما في هذا الجدول

This is your book this book is yours
This is his book this book is his
This is her book this book is hers
This is our book this book is ours
This is their book this book is theirs
